Intellectual property will be relevant to my business for the name and logo, as well as any productions that my studio makes, whether it starts off being small, short films for film festivals, or big scaled production feature films to be released in cinemas. Copyright will be one of the most relevant pieces of Intellectual Property for my business, I will have to ensure that; Any ideas of films and characters aren't used illegally/without permission in other studios There aren't any bootleg, rip off versions of any of our productions being published Copyrighting all property that is created within the studios, ensuring that it is owned and cannot be stolen - Trademarks Copyright will also be applied to any original screenplays, stories, etc. that are written by the staff at my studios, which actually lasts the lifetime of the owner of the copyrighted property. Trademarking would definitely be applied to my business. I will have to trademark certain things like my studio/company...

The overall income I'd make from revenue earnt from the box office will be hard to calculate as cinema prices vary in both what type of cinema the movie is playing at, and it depends on the majority of tickets purchased (Children tickets, Teen/Adult tickets, family tickets, etc.). However, there are also other ways I would be able to earn ongoing income, these are some of the things I can do; Merchandising - clothes, accessories, badges, keychains, etc. Live Studio Tours - For the general public or for educational visits DVD & Blu-Ray Films - Sold in a variety of shops around the world or purchased online (Amazon, HMV, etc.) Online Streaming - Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney +, YouTube Movies, etc. The only income I'd be able to roughly calculate would be for the tuition fees I will earn from my animation school, and after looking at other animation schools to see what their prices are, I've decided that my prices will start off at £750 per academic term. For a full acade...

Poster #1: Misha This was the first poster I made using this concept and I'm very pleased with the final results. I'm very happy with the layout, composition, and execution of this poster. I wanted this poster to be realistic in terms of size, so these posters could give viewers the perspective of how big some of these characters are compared to the voice actors. I decided to have Misha sit down on the floor as this character, Plushtrap is the smallest in the film and I wanted her to match the same level as Plushtrap. I'm also very happy with the picture of Misha I used for this poster, she was very professional and did everything exactly the way I was wanting her to do it. The only problem with her picture I have is the quality and lighting, this made things a little difficult to work with as she was further away from the camera as I needed her full body to be in the shot, so when masking her out, it was difficult for me to get the best result. It was most difficult around...

Intellectual Property Intellectual property (IP) are original creations people have made, such as inventions, literary and artistic works, designs, symbols, names, and images used in commerce. IP is protected in law, some examples of these laws are patents, copyright, and trademarks. These enable people to earn recognition or financial benefit from what they have created. By striking the right balance between the interests of innovators and the wider public interest, the IP system aims to care for an environment in which creativity and innovation can thrive. There are multiple types of Intellectual Property, these include: Copyright Patents Trademarks Industrial Designs Geographical Indications Trade Secrets Copyright Copyright is a legal term that is used to describe the rights that creators have over their works. Copyright ensures that if you create something like a piece of music or a film, you own that material. This means that if people try to use your material without permission,...

Task 1: The businesses that have inspired me the most have been Warner Bros and Pixar because of how high quality their productions are, the visual storytelling to the animations these studios produce are really eye-catching and memorable for all ages, and I would like to be able to achieve the same quality of production with my business in the future. One idea I have that could potentially help my business get to where I want it to be is by collaborating, getting partnerships with other animations studios, and getting more exposure in both the industry and to the general public. The only thing I will avoid with my business is creating material that is considered inappropriate to the public as it would put a bad image onto my business and could result in my business failing or shutting down. This is both for the films that my studio will produce and for what my students will create when taking part in my animation school. I will make it clear that if they do end up creating anythin...
